A Note About The Archive

There used to be more here.

At some point, I decided it was time to put my older posts to bed. My writing here dated back to my first year of college. Back then, I posted with great frequency. The early days of blogging were more like social networks are today, with short and frequent observational posts the norm. While I don't have major regrets or embarrassments over what I shared here, I don't think those posts have enduring value.

To pare down the archive, I picked a cut-off year: 2007. That's the year I moved from Washington, DC to San Francisco and started working for Twitter. It's certainly not a year in which I produced unquestionably worthwhile writing, but 2007 saw many transitions for me, and that's why I picked it as the cut-off.

A motivated reader could find my older posts and previous iterations of this site in places around the Web where such archives are kept. I don't think such digital archeology is worth your time, but thanks for looking all the same.
