There used to be more here. I decided it was time to put my older posts to bed. My writing here dated back to my first year of college. Back then I posted with great frequency; the early days of blogging were more like social networks are today, with short observational posts the norm. I don't have major regrets or embarassments over what I shared here, but I don't think the majority of those posts have enduring value.
To pare down the archive, I picked a cut-off year: 2007. That's the year I moved from Washington, DC to San Francisco and started working for Twitter. It's certainly not a year in which I produced unquestionably valuable writing, but 2007 was a year of many transitions for me, and that's why I picked it as the cut-off.
A motivated reader could find my older posts and previous iterations of this site in places around the Web where such archives are kept. I don't think that digital archeology is worth your time, but thanks for looking all the same.
