Both Ecto and MarsEdit choke on WordPress’s XML-RPC like [insert tasteless pornographic simile here] – patches or no. Like, to the point of putting encoded entity characters in previously published posts that I’m trying to edit. I don’t know where the blame lies, so instead I’ll just keep using the damn web form posting interface.
